Maya Workshop

During the Maya Workshop from Animation Mentor (AM) we had lots of assignments...here is a sample of what I did during that time: a couple of bouncing balls (just bouncing, no squatch/stretch effects), robot arm fetching can, then a variation on the robot arm assignment with a rebellious can, just for fun, and a step test. These animations were actually made closer to the end of the course, when we were studying the animation tools. All models by AM.

Durante o Workshop de Maya oferecido pelo Animation Mentor (AM) fiz diversas tarefas...aqui está uma amostra do que fiz durante esse curso: duas bolas saltantes (que apenas saltam, só isso, sem squatch/stretch e tal), braço mecânico pegando uma lata normal, depois pegando uma lata meio rebelde para eu experimentar um pouco e por fim, um salto. Essas animações na verdade foram feitas na parte final do curso, quando estávamos estudando as ferramentas de animação. Todos os modelos pertencem ao AM.

Short test with pencil

This is my first test using pencil, a free tool (www.pencil-animation.org/). Really cool for planning animations :-)

Inauguration / Inauguração

To inaugurate the blog, nothing more appropriate than posting the first animation I did. Used blender (free + open source: blender.org) to model, animate, etc... Although it was a lot of work, there's of course space for improvement... :-)

Para inaugurar o blog, nada mais apropriado que postar a primeira animação que eu fiz. Eu usei blender (livre + open source: blender.org) para modelar, animar, etc...Apesar de ter sido bastante trabalhoso, daria para melhorar, mas acho que foi um bom começo :-)
